Troubleshooting Integration Issues

If one of your connected accounts stops working, Law Booker will let you know and help you fix it. Here's how to handle common integration issues.

"Needs Reconnection" status

Sometimes a connected account loses its connection. This can happen when:

  • You changed your password on Google, Microsoft, or Zoom.

  • You revoked Law Booker's access from your account's security settings.

  • Your login session expired and needs to be renewed.

When this happens, the account shows a red Needs Reconnection badge in your Active Integrations list.

Reconnect an account

  1. In the sidebar, click Integrations.

  2. Find the account with the Needs Reconnection badge and click the arrow to expand it.

  3. Click Reconnect.

  4. Sign in with the same account and grant access again.

  5. You'll be redirected back to the Integrations page. Your account should now show Connected in green.

All your calendar selections and settings are preserved β€” you don't need to reconfigure anything.

Fix missing meeting links

If your account was disconnected for a while, some appointments booked during that time may be missing their video meeting links. After reconnecting, Law Booker checks for this automatically.

  1. After a successful reconnection, a dialog appears showing any upcoming appointments that are missing meeting links.

  1. Click Fix all to generate the missing links. Law Booker will create new meeting links for each affected appointment.

  2. When finished, you'll see a summary of which links were generated successfully.

If no appointments are affected, you'll see a message confirming everything is fine.

Disconnection warning banner

When an account needs reconnection, you may see a warning banner at the top of the page:

  • Single account: "[Provider] account disconnected β€” meeting links won't be generated."

  • Multiple accounts: "[N] meeting providers disconnected β€” meeting links won't be generated."

Click Reconnect now in the banner to go to the Integrations page and fix the issue.

You can dismiss the banner by clicking the X button. It will reappear if the account is still disconnected the next time you log in.

Account disconnects but you didn't change anything

In rare cases, a temporary issue with Google, Microsoft, or Zoom can cause a brief connection problem. Law Booker distinguishes between temporary issues (like a server outage) and permanent ones (like a revoked password). Only permanent issues trigger the reconnection flow.

If your account keeps disconnecting without any changes on your end, try:

  1. Disconnect the account completely from Law Booker.

  2. Go to your Google, Microsoft, or Zoom account security settings and check that Law Booker still has access.

  3. Reconnect the account from the Integrations page.

Booking links affected by disconnection

If you disconnect an account that's used for meeting links (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom), the affected booking links won't be able to generate video links for new appointments.

You can see which booking links are affected before disconnecting β€” Law Booker shows a warning in the disconnect confirmation dialog.

To fix this, either reconnect the account or edit the affected booking links to use a different meeting provider.
